Simplifying Square Roots: Break a number into a perfect square × another number
Example: √27 = √(9 × 3) = 3√3
Example: √50 = √(25 × 2) = 5√2
Add/Subtract: 2√3 + 5√3 = 7√3
Multiply: √2 × √8 = √16 = 4
